I am so grateful to Asì for the insight and care that she puts into her practice as a body worker. After I passed my due date with my first baby, my doulas recommended booking an induction massage with Asì to help encourage the baby to come out into the world. I met Asì three days later with no signs of labor. Asì took the time to get to know me and hear about my pregnancy journey before the massage and to clearly explain how the massage would work and what to expect. While the massage itself was so incredibly relaxing, what I liked most about the process was how positive and affirming Asì was about my pregnancy and upcoming birth. I was anxious about what to expect with labor and delivery and Asì was able to turn that anxiety to more productive feelings like anticipation and curiosity and wonder. After the massage, Asì and I debriefed about the experience and talked a lot about how my body will know what to do when it’s time. I woke up the next morning in active labor and delivered my son unmedicated by the evening. I credit Asì for helping the process along mentally and physically. I’ve recommended her practice to three of my close friends who are pregnant, one of which went into active labor after seeing Asì and delivered her second child five hours later. Así is a divine healer. Coming into my second prenatal induction massage with her, I knew my body would relax and open up in preparation for labor. The muscular tension that I held would melt away. Not only does Así promote calm and relaxation for the physical body, she very keenly and intuitively takes the time to see into your soul and she found a potential blockage to my surrendering fully for labor. She acknowledged and validated the real feelings and stressors that I was anxious about that were potentially holding my body from going into labor. I just had to tell you that my daughter arrived around 3am last Thursday morning!!! I came in on Tuesday late afternoon for my induction massage and I think it definitely played a role in her arrival. I left feeling SO relaxed and was determined to hold onto that feeling. She was actually born at home (unplanned) and delivered by dad. We are all doing well and it was the most beautiful, magical, amazing birth story I could have asked for. The focus on finding my breath during the massage was huge for me during my very short labor and meeting contractions with power and having confidence in my body were all results of the massage too. Thanks again for such a wonderful massage. Here is the update: 24 hours later ( Sat 9/2) I lost my mucus plug, the evening of 9/3 contractions started, then early morning 9/4 my water broke and I had my daughter that evening. No induction needed! I'm very grateful for your help! -Keira

Wow, so ... your massage really worked :) My son was born at 3:15am this morning, in our home with the midwives, after just a 4 hour labor. We couldn’t be happier with how the birth went.
